Product Uses: internet surfing, email, word processing, database, Travel
Review:Although we've only had this computer a week or so, we are impressed with its serviceability. We travel a lot and look forward to taking this tiny and light device to record our trip journals. It will be MUCH easier to handle than our old laptop.

Title: Absolutely LOVE!
Date: November 19, 2009
Product Uses: website design, music and downloads, personal, business
Review:Got the most basic of the Mini's and love it. I didn't need anything above average, but the laptop is definitely excellent. It's fast, reliable, and small! I bring it everywhere and it's replaced my previous laptop and desktop. It plays my games fine, with no lag and quick to connect to any internet connection. I've always bought Dell and never had any problems and this is by far my favorite laptop. And I can get about 2.5 hours on my battery, even if I am doing a lot of heavy graphics stuff.

Title: Mini 10 oinly for non-power users
Date: November 19, 2009
Product Uses: for staff members that can mange on a weaker sys
Review:Design wise this is not a bad mini but Dell does not tell us everything at purchase. First, I ordered the longer life battery. Dell does not inform the buyer that it changes to profile of the case and it is no longer as slim at the base as with the smaller battery. Second, with XP as the OS, I was limited to only 1mb of memory and no way to configure with extra memory. So performance is what I would call "clunky" at best for any serious application or website. So if you are not a real power user, maybe you can get by with this machine for simle word processing or 'light' web browsing. Otherwise I would stay away from the Dell minis until Dell dedcides to pack some computing power into this "cutesie' box.

Title: Mighty Mini 10V Is A Powerhouse!!
Date: November 19, 2009
Product Uses: grade papers onine, web surfing, wordprocessing, update website, presentations, email, teaching\tutoring
Review:I am an office administrator and part time community college instructor. I purchased the Mini 10 mainly to lighten my everyday "load" of the stuff I carry back and forth. The Mini 10 has worked great! I access email, surf the internet, grade papers, update my online class announcements, create exams, grade exams, and correspond with students and faculty throughout the day. I even used it to make a presentation at my church! At first, I had a problem with the wireless, but it was discovered that the problem was with our network. The touchpad can be awkard - so go ahead and purchase a mouse. I also purchased a lightweight USB hub which enables me to plug in several USB devices at once. The weight, display and functionality of the Mini 10V has met all of my expectations. I highly recommend this mighty LITTLE computer! It really works!!
