Title: Good value Date: October 26, 2009
Review:Had this system for a few weeks now. Overall good value for the money, mine came with a free 21' Samsung LCD and wireless Logitec Mouse & keyboard.

Pros:
- inexpensive
- nice design

Cons:
- Fan is very noisy, it's worse than my 4 year old previous Dell. I'm going to have to replace it.
- Shipping, delivery was delayed by a few days for no apparent reasons, and I got no status updates until it was delivered.
- PCI cards are half the regular size, so I can't use any that I had purchased before.
- No FireWire
- Videocard is very basic, no digital output
- Only room for one DVD/CD burner

Title: aesthetically pleasing Date: October 13, 2009
Product Uses: streaming online video, wow

Review:Bought Around June 16th, 2009:

Got off dell outlet for considerable savings; $343 for 2gb ram, 160gb hdd, Intel E7400, Vista Basic.

Pros: Hard to compare to my old laptop (from 2004)

-Good ventilation

-Play's online video great. Watch 2-5 hrs of hulu/netflix a day.

Can be used for gaming w/o a card but settings need to be lowered a bit. I've only played WoW on it, and as long as sight distance is low, I can get 7-10 fps in Dal. With more ram (only 2gb now) and a video card, it may run significantly better and I will update when I do upgrade.

Cons: I was under the impression that the power supply was 300W max, but upon opening case to take a look, it is only 250W.

-Didn't realize the limited upgrade-ability of slim case design, probably would have gone with standard had I known--though it does look much better.

-Shipping was odd. No tracking number, said it wasn't going to be shipped for 2 weeks (eta 3 weeks) but I did get it in a week.
