Title: Great little gadget, but...
Posted25 November 2015
Yes, I would recommend this product
Everything worked as expected appart from the HDMI connection which I cant seem to have working on Windows 10 Pro 64bit. I hear a tone when I connect the HDMI cable to it, but it wont work. Tried on a monitor and projector, with multiple cables, but the connection just wont show up on the device. Tried using both the graphics properties features and Windows+P key... no luck. Might be a drivers issues.
Pros:quite useful for people on the move.
Cons:issue with hdmi

Title: NOT compatible with w/ 2015 XPS 13"
Posted2 December 2015
No, I do not recommend this product.
Windows 10 and the 2015 XPS 13" (9350) don't fully talk to with the dongle. Waiting for drivers/updates. HDMI doesn't work, USB is spotty, & VGA is fine.

Title: Doesn't work with XPS 13
Posted19 April 2016
No, I do not recommend this product.
We bought 4 of these, for use on 2 XPS 13s. None work on either laptop. Originally HDMI connections didn't work at all for monitors, but after an update they now work. But ethernet and USB connections regularly disconnect or don't connect at all. For example, I have ethernet connected now but my internet connection is switching regularly (eg, every 10 seconds) between ethernet and wireless.
Pros:nice concept
Cons:very badly implemented

Title: DO NOT BUY - USB PORT FAILS WITH XPS13
Posted19 July 2017
No, I do not recommend this product.
I bought the DA200 for my Dell XPS13 thinking it would work perfectly since it's the same company's accessory.
I was wrong - the USB port on the DA200 would stop working randomly for no obvious reason. Sometimes it would fail after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours. You would have to keep unplugging/reconnecting the device and sometimes a system restart was required to get the XPS13 to recognise the USB device. No fix worked, including downloading various drivers/BIOS upgrades.

It took Dell over two months to examine the issue and even then Dell was not able to fix the problem.
No point spending so much money on a product that doesn't even work properly - really terrible experience.
Never buying a Dell accessory again! (hide)
